1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with any arrangement confirmation issued by Trovenza.
• "Trovenza" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Trovenza, a heritage tour car rental operator registered and operating from 71 Jalan Semenyih 12, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia.
• "User" / "You" / "Your" — any individual who accesses this website, submits an enquiry, or enters into a heritage tour car rental arrangement with Trovenza.
• "Service" — the heritage tour car rental arrangements offered by Trovenza, including the Heritage Day Compact, Heritage Three-Day Sedan, and Heritage Weeklong Touring packages.
• "Website" — the Trovenza website accessible at https://{{DOMAIN}}.
• "Arrangement" — a confirmed booking of a Trovenza service following enquiry and agreement on terms between both parties.
• "Content" — all text, images, maps, route notes, and materials provided on the website or supplied as part of a service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or submitting a service enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driving licence recognised in Malaysia to proceed with a vehicle arrangement. By submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to this Agreement.

3. Service Description

Trovenza offers heritage-themed car rental arrangements designed for self-driven exploration of historic districts and cultural sites across Malaysia. Our current offerings include:

• Heritage Day Compact — a single-day compact vehicle arrangement with a heritage route covering one Malaysian city's historic district. Includes printed reference notes and parking guidance near heritage sites. Priced at RM 540.
• Heritage Three-Day Sedan — a three-day sedan arrangement covering a multi-city historic trail, including route notes and recommended stops with cultural context. Priced at RM 2,000.
• Heritage Weeklong Touring — a seven-day comfort-class vehicle arrangement covering a multi-region cultural route, with a mid-trip review session and a journey summary document suitable for travel journaling. Priced at RM 4,500.

Services are available within Malaysia and subject to vehicle availability. Route notes and supporting materials are provided as general guidance only and do not constitute professional travel advice.

Trovenza reserves the right to modify service offerings, routes, or included materials with reasonable notice. We will communicate any changes that affect a confirmed arrangement directly to you before the arrangement begins.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Driver Eligibility

You are responsible for confirming that all drivers of the arranged vehicle hold a valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle class, are legally permitted to drive in Malaysia, and meet any minimum age requirements specified at the time of arrangement.

4.2 Vehicle Use

The vehicle provided is for personal, non-commercial use in connection with the agreed heritage route arrangement. You agree not to:

• Use the vehicle for purposes other than those agreed in the arrangement.
• Allow any person not disclosed at the time of arrangement to operate the vehicle.
• Operate the vehicle outside Peninsular Malaysia without prior written consent from Trovenza.
• Use the vehicle in a manner inconsistent with the Malaysian Road Transport Act 1987 or any applicable regulations.
• Carry hazardous, prohibited, or illegal materials in the vehicle.

4.3 Care and Return

You agree to return the vehicle in the same general condition as it was provided, at the agreed time and location, with a reasonable fuel level as specified in the arrangement. Any damage, loss, or significant soiling beyond normal wear will be assessed and communicated to you after the arrangement concludes.

4.4 Website Use

When using this website, you agree not to misrepresent your identity, submit false enquiries, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, or engage in conduct that disrupts or degrades the website's operation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, route notes, imagery, and branding materials, is the property of Trovenza or its licensors. No part of this website or any supplied materials may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Trovenza.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use this website and any printed materials supplied as part of your arrangement solely for personal, non-commercial use in connection with the service.

Printed route notes and journey summaries supplied as part of a service arrangement are for your personal reference. Sharing or distributing these materials in a commercial context is not permitted without Trovenza's consent.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are as published at the time of enquiry. Pricing details are communicated during the arrangement confirmation process. Trovenza reserves the right to review pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Payment terms, including the amount, method, and schedule, will be confirmed in writing as part of the arrangement confirmation. Full or partial payment may be required prior to the commencement of the arrangement, as specified at the time of booking.

Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process. Any additional costs arising from traffic infringements, parking charges, tolls, or damage to the vehicle during the arrangement period are the responsibility of the user and are not included in the stated arrangement price.

Cancellations and modifications to a confirmed arrangement must be communicated to Trovenza as early as possible. The terms of any refund or rescheduling will be discussed in good faith and are subject to the timing of the cancellation and the costs already incurred by Trovenza in preparing the arrangement.

7. Arrangement-Specific Terms

7.1 Booking and Confirmation

An arrangement is only confirmed upon receipt of a written confirmation from Trovenza. Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed arrangement. Trovenza will make reasonable efforts to respond to enquiries within two working days.

7.2 Route Notes and Materials

Printed reference notes, parking guidance, and cultural context materials supplied as part of the service are prepared to the best of Trovenza's knowledge. Road conditions, access to heritage sites, and operating hours of individual sites may change without notice. Trovenza does not warrant the ongoing accuracy of route notes and recommends users verify access conditions for specific sites before their arrangement begins.

7.3 Vehicle Condition

Trovenza will provide a vehicle in good working order, cleaned, and with a reasonable fuel level for the start of the arrangement. In the unlikely event of a mechanical issue during the arrangement, Trovenza will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative vehicle or a suitable resolution, subject to availability.

7.4 Mid-Trip Review (Weeklong Touring)

The Heritage Weeklong Touring arrangement includes a mid-trip review conversation with a Trovenza representative. This is an informal check-in to discuss the arrangement's progress and is provided as a courtesy service. It does not create any additional contractual obligation on either party beyond the original arrangement.

8. Disclaimers

This website and all content on it are provided on an "as available" basis. Trovenza makes no representations about the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of information on this website for any particular purpose.

Heritage sites, routes, and points of interest referenced in our materials are independently operated by third parties. Trovenza has no control over the access, condition, or operating status of any heritage site and cannot be held responsible for changes to site availability or conditions.

Route notes and journey materials are informational in nature and do not substitute for official travel advice, maps, or safety guidance. Users are responsible for their own safety and travel decisions during the arrangement period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Trovenza's total liability to you arising from or in connection with any arrangement or use of this website shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific arrangement giving rise to the claim.

Trovenza shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of enjoyment, missed site visits, travel delays caused by third parties, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where applicable.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trovenza and its representatives from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the vehicle in a manner contrary to this Agreement, traffic or parking infringements incurred during your arrangement period, or misrepresentation made during the enquiry or booking process.

11. Termination

Either party may cancel an arrangement in accordance with the cancellation terms agreed at the time of booking. Trovenza may decline to proceed with or may terminate an arrangement if there is a material breach of these Terms, a safety concern, or evidence of misrepresentation by the user.

In the event of early termination by Trovenza due to user breach, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the arrangement. Where termination arises from circumstances within Trovenza's control, a proportionate resolution will be offered.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to informal negotiation. Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through direct communication before pursuing formal proceedings.

Where informal resolution is not possible, disputes may be referred to mediation through the Malaysian Mediation Centre or a mutually agreed mediator. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with any written arrangement confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trovenza in respect of the subject matter and supersede any prior discussions or understandings.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
• Waiver. Trovenza's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on a particular occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision for the future.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under a confirmed arrangement to a third party without Trovenza's prior written consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

Trovenza may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

For arrangements already confirmed at the time of any update, the version of the Terms in effect at the date of confirmation will continue to apply unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
